Driving to Rome....

We spent the morning packing and then taking pictures of Isabelle's house and land, and reading on the terrace.
This is the view from our room in the morning.

Nick reading.
Mom reading.

Shameless selfie!

Terrace or as we use it as our reading nook.

All Isabella's property!

So here we go again we packed the five of us into a little car and set off.  I am having memories of the Fishkin's Black Hills trip.  I now feel your pain!

We set off and again saw wonderful scenery.  Not as amazing as the day before all though we did again see some more of the French Alps.  We saw many more castles.

On the way Tom Tom decided that we needed to detour to the leaning tower of Peza.

Haha I know this is corny!  But I had to do it.

Anyway this really does not take long to see we spent all of 30 minutes there.  I think it was enough time.  You can get tickets to go inside but we knew that we had the drive in front of us.

We got to Rome at rush hour, grumpy.  Not good for anyone's nerves! Dad was driving (of course) and Pirc was navigating. Let me just say that we thought that drivers and traffic in Paris was bad but we had NO IDEA!  Scouters and motorcycles are crazy here!  There are so many of them and they are all over the place! They do not follow any rules they just drive wherever they want and assume that you will not hit them.

Our place is nice and for dinner we are going gluten free!!!!
